Am 11. September macht das Core Fest erstmals Halt in Hamburg und bringt eine kompakte, aber intensive Ausgabe ins Logo. Unter dem Titel „Core Fest goes Hamburg“ erwartet euch ein Abend voller Breakdowns und purer Energie zwischen Metalcore, Hardcore und angrenzenden Genres. Mit dabei sind Abbie Falls, Backstabbed, DOGBITE, KORA WINTER, glower und Voidence – sechs Bands, die für rohe Energie, druckvolle Liveshows und kompromisslosen Sound stehen. Jede für sich bringt eine eigene Note ins Line-up und sorgt gemeinsam für ein vielseitiges, aber stimmiges Gesamtbild.

Hinter dem Core Fest steht ein ehrenamtliches Team direkt aus der Szene – organisiert von Fans für Fans. Mit viel Herzblut geht es darum, die Musik und die Community zusammenzubringen und einen Raum für ehrliche, intensive Live-Erlebnisse zu schaffen. When we’re not busy blowing up amps, you’ll catch us rolling dice and slinging cards in Magic: The Gathering battles that get as heated as our live shows. Oh, and yeah, we’re connoisseurs of the finest za — it fuels our riffs and keeps the vibes immaculate.

KORA WINTER

Singer Hakan Halaç describes Kora Winter’s music as a “Turbostaat on steroids,” thereby naming one of his main influences. Added to this, especially in the early days, are the mathcore bands The Dillinger Escape Plan and Exotic Animal Petting Zoo. No wonder the end result is a pretty unique blend.
KORA WINTER represents a new generation of German-language hardcore/metal that breaks taboos and challenges social conventions.

Lyrically, their songs revolve around themes of emptiness, violence, emotional overload, and social tension—shaped by ideas of alienation, internal pressure, and resistance against an overstimulated, contradictory present.
