On September 27, Core Fest shows up in Berlin for the first time. Under the banner “Core Fest goes Berlin,” you can look forward to an evening packed with breakdowns and pure energy, spanning metalcore, hardcore, and related genres. The lineup includes Abbie Falls, Chaosbay, Lake Malice, Backstabbed, KORA WINTER, Saviourself, DOGBITE, Elivra, and Deshurance—nine bands that deliver everything from raw energy to soulful clean vocals. Each of them bring their own unique touch, and together they create a diverse yet cohesive lineup.

The Core Fest team is a volunteer team straight from the scene—organized by fans for fans. With a lot of passion, the goal is to bring the music and the community together and create a space for honest, intense live experiences. Berlin, get ready and grab your tickets now—Core Fest is coming.

When we’re not busy blowing up amps, you’ll catch us rolling dice and slinging cards in Magic: The Gathering battles that get as heated as our live shows. Oh, and yeah, we’re connoisseurs of the finest za — it fuels our riffs and keeps the vibes immaculate.
Our music? It’s the sonic equivalent of a basement mosh pit: raw, unhinged, and absolutely relentless. If you’re into heavy drops, unapologetic energy, and a band that

Lake Malice is Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall, from Brighton U.K. Influenced by Japanese Anime in style, writing about past trauma and real-life experiences; the band is a fast-growing force in the alternative scene. Singer Hakan Halaç describes Kora Winter’s music as a “Turbostaat on steroids,” thereby naming one of his main influences. Added to this, especially in the early days, are the mathcore bands The Dillinger Escape Plan and Exotic Animal Petting Zoo. No wonder the end result is a pretty unique blend.
KORA WINTER represents a new generation of German-language hardcore/metal that breaks taboos and challenges social conventions.

Nothing stays the same. Founded in 2020 as an outlet for the prevailing isolation, frustration and lack of prospects, Deshurance today stands for a promise: Nothing stays the same.

Deshurance introspectively addresses the influences of a degenerate world and the painful struggle for a better self. Influences from black metal, doom, beatdown and more blend seamlessly into a framework of hardcore and metalcore, versatile but always authentic.
